Canesten clotrimazole cream is used to treat fungal skin infections such as ringworm, athlete’s foot, fungal nappy rash and fungal sweat rash and is also used to relieve irritation on the vulva or penis as a result of thrush.
This product contains cetostearyl alcohol which may cause local skin irritation (e.g. rash, itching or redness).
Do not use on broken skin.

As with other creams, this product may reduce the effectiveness of rubber contraceptives, such as condoms or diaphragms. As a result, if you are using this cream on the vulva or penis, please use alternative precautions for at least five days after using this product.
